On Sunday 6 October, we will give a course in our gallery on the topic; hymns, prayers and narrative icons. We will dive into rare and extensive iconography. How do you convert the lyrics of a hymn to the image on an icon? Vita icons look like comic strips of saints, but why was there a need to depict the life stories of this saint in this way?

The atmosphere will be both informative and homely. Together with you, we will take time to enjoy the icons in peace. An opportunity that does not always present itself to the same extent during the hustle and bustle of our art fairs. You are welcome from 13.00. At 2.30 pm, we will start the course, which we will conclude around 4.30 pm with snacks and drinks. There is no charge to attend.
